Bracket Pro - Does not work as advertised

I just bought bracket pro for my A7RII to use the focus bracket feature.

I'm using it with the Sony 90mm 2.8 Macro

The app doesn't give you any means to control the focus depth, you simply choose between narrow, or wide, but the resulting 3 images are all the same, am I missing something?

I was also under the impression that the app would combine the results, and output one image, like the smooth reflections app.

Very disappointed, frankly, and I'd like my $5 back!
