when you log into your account (via browser), in theory you should be able to top up your wallet from your c/card. If that returns a card error, then you know, no sales, whichever way you do them, will go through (infinite loop).
I DID write to account support as well & explained my specifics (ie: Aussie card, EU account) which was the deal breaker.
Otherwise, the work-around has been suggested to purchase a Credit Voucher through your local electronics store, and apply to make the purchase. But Yes, that's a bit Lame.
