I've been trying to find a solution for shooting long timelapses with my A7rii. So far the best (and not very good) solution seems to be an external USB battery connected to the micro USB port (where my intervelometer would go) and then using the timelapse app as an intervelometer. The biggest problem with this setup is that the image review/auto review feature seems to be disabled by the app. This makes it impossible to properly judge exposure when ramping. I can get an idea from the live view monitor, but I need to see the last image taken along with a histogram to properly gauge ramping.
Anyone have suggestions or a better solution?
I've tried the DSLRDashboard app only to realize that it doesn't seem to work with the a7 series...
