If you're having trouble downloading the PlayMemories Home software on your Mac computer, we recommend running the PlayMemories Home Repair Tool to resolve the issue. The Repair tool will delete and restore the program.
Below are the changes that will happen in your computer system when performing the PlayMemories Home Repair Tool function:
- The previously installed PlayMemories Home is uninstalled.
- Services currently in use that are related to PlayMemories Home are stopped.
- Services related to the previously installed PlayMemories Home are deregistered from the OS.
- Installation folders for the previously installed PlayMemories Home are deleted.
- Registries related to the previously installed PlayMemories Home are deleted.
- The registry that certifies that PlayMemories Home has been previously installed in the OS is deleted.
- Folders storing personal settings for the previously installed PlayMemories Home are deleted.
- Files or folders related to the previously installed PlayMemories Home are deleted from temporary folders in OS.
Once the diagnostics is finished, reinstall the PlayMemories Home software.
