Sony developer missed the mark completely in releasing the latest version 5.8.0 across the board. This app may be fine on a phone, but when it is used on an iPad, the viewfinder is now 1/3 of the size as before. The previous version had a FULL Screen view which was THE reason I chose to buy Sony over Panasonic (Panasonic had the same 1/3 screen). Sony's old app was simple, elegant, and the buttons (start/stop, zoom) were LARGE and EASY to use. The new version 5.8.0 made these buttons so small that it was very hard to push and I have missed many critical zooming shots because of it.
I understand this release may be a huge improvement for SLR's and for use on Phones, then please release a separate version for iPad or a button you can hit to make the viewfinder FULL SCREEN and have the control buttons as transparent OVERLAY. This release is a huge step backwards to what separated Sony from the others.
I am eagerly waiting for release 5.8.1. Until then, I am searching the Internet to see if previous versions are still available.
PLEASE FIX!!!
