The 'Bracket Pro' app squanders it's promise by limiting the bracketed exposures to three, and offering imprecise controls for the range of the bracket. I suggest they improve the app so that it can truly serve as a professional tool. Users should be able to choose how many bracketed shots they would like to take. Three shots isn't that useful for most functions and barely expands the features already in the camera. 5-10 metered exposures should would be much more useful to capture the full dynamic range used in HDR photography. And 10-20 focus bracketed exposures are not uncommon for focus stacking narrow depth of field subjects, like macro shots. Users should be able to greatly increase the number of bracketed shots.
Additionally, users should be able to have more precise control over the ends of the bracket range. Focus bracketing only gives "Near" or "Far" descriptors, which lack any real meaning. Users should be able to input precise measurements here. Even better, the ability to manually focus the camera at either end of the range and punch those variables in. Again, this would be great for Macro photography where the DOF is very thin and the subject is very small.
Thanks.
