This error occurs when the OS is not reading the software correctly. The PlayMemories Home software is compatible with both Windows 10 32 and 64 bit versions. I would recommend downloading the program without an online connection. Please follow the steps below.

1. Visit the PlayMemories Home support website.
2. Click the appropriate download link (Windows® computer or Mac® computer).
3. Click Install PlayMemories Home.
4. Click Save or Save As to save the .EXE file in the desired location.
   NOTE: It may take time to download the installer depending on the network environment (communications speed) and computer operating environment.
5. Once the download is completed, you can move the file to a different computer or for downloading.
