Re: making a movie using Play Memories

I just had a long phone conversation with Jay at SONY support on

1300 137 669 after following a number of prompts to get the correct person..

2/4/2  and was transferred to Jay who worked thru all my problems and hopefully documented them so he can resaerch a solution to email me.

 

I am using Win 7 Premium

Welcome to the Sony Community!

 

What do you mean by putting the videos together to make a movie? Are you combining the videos? Or creating a disc? What was the error message you're getting?

stuck on infinite loop of agree and confirm purchase when trying to purchase time lapse app for sony a6000 camera. Try different browser or wirelessly within the camera and it still doesnt work.

We recommend running the Initialization tool for PlayMemories Home to help resolve the issue. This will reset the program back to its default settings. Also make sure to install the PMH add on to create discs. If the issue persists, uninstall the program and reinstall the latest version of Playmemories Home.

excellent reply....

 

There is an obvious defect, affecting several regions, no reply and now you're telling us to open the same ticket with to the Global site. Personally, i cannot understand how due to 'proximity' they are in a better position to respond to your questions or concerns. We can all read English right?

What type of lens are you using in the camera, if you are using a power zoom lens like SELP1650, then you should see the letter T and W in the screen of your cellphone. Tapping W will set the frame to WIDE and tapping T will set the frame to TELEPHOTO.

Hi Gogh,

 

You can export the files imported to the computer by going to the Files tab then click Export. Drag the files you want to transfer to the window on the right side of the display and click Next to start export. Connect the hard drive to the computer before initiating the process.

Welcome to the Sony Community!

 

What is the OS of your computer? Are you getting an error message when downloading the Download tool? The option to download PlayMemories Camera Apps is unavailable for computers running the Mac OS 10.11 El Capitan. This is only for Windows OS computers. If you were able to successfully create an account, you can download the app through the camera itself. Go to Menu and select Applications. Click on PlayMemories Camera Apps and connect the camera to your wireless network. Select the app you want to download and enter you account information to complete the download to your unit. If you have a computer running on a Windows OS, follow the 4-step guide on the PlayMemories Camera Apps site to download the apps using a computer.

My OS is Windows 10. I had no problem downloading the "Touchless Shutter" app. That works mostly for all shutter speeds except for "BULB". I realize that's a Beta app.    What happens when I am purchasing an app is that everything is OK until I try to "agee and confirm " purchase. That page merely reloads. I tried downloading via the camera but I get only the same result. Tried changing the method of payment. Tried different computers. All to no avail. The apps were one of the main reasons I bought an A6000.  Thanks for replying.

this might be the only solution. I try downloading it from my PC (using google chrome) and connect the camera via usb and it work. 


Try it like 5 mins ago. But still no luck direct download via camera.
